SHUSRUSA is a voluntary organization of a small group of dedicated and determined persons with an objective to provide home nursing services and was launched on 8th April 2003. Shusrusa was conceived in September 2002, as a result, a few likeminded individuals who felt the need for professional and high quality home nursing care in Odisha.
Shusrusa was launched on 8th April 2003 and registered under the SR Act 1860 At present SHUSRUSA have 6 life members and 13 Annual members.
The Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare is a state-of-the-art paramedical training institute with hospital simulated labs & equipment to aid student learning.
Get taught by highly qualified healthcare professionals along with learning as part of on-job training in leading hospitals.
We focus on guiding students with the required employability skills like English speaking, personality development & IT skills to match the industry demands.
Apart from imparting technical training, we provide on-job training/internship. We also provide placement assistance to students for a bright career in the healthcare industry.
The vision of “Shusrusa” is to provide the livelihood support to the vast numbers of poor rural women from different parts of Odisha by strengthening their capacity by training them on home nursing and also to cater the growing needs of the people with ailments.

Breaking of joint family increasing longevity and globalization made the life of geriatric population difficult. When parents are in there 80s children are in 60s. So even though some children are staying with their parents. They themselves are having life style diseases. Besides more and more women started working outside their home no mother or mother in law to look after the babies some cases mothers and mother in laws are themselves working. Keeping all these in mind SHUSRUSA was conceived on 11th September 2002 and launched on 8th April 2003. To provide quality Home Health Care and there was no looking back.
